The idea of "The Gift from the Heart Project" came to me
several years ago. I felt there was more that could be done
to help those in need, and what a perfect opportunity, the psychic
fair could be used as the foundation to initiate this.
I decided to call it the “Gift from the Heart Project” because
in giving, it is a gift from the heart. However, I also knew I
wanted to give back something too. My decision was to give back
one dollar ($1.00) off the admission fee to those that had
donated a much needed food item.
I have talked to various food pantries throughout N.Y state
in my promoting of various events; many of
these food pantries are suffering. So take a moment to look in
your food cupboards and ask yourself
“Will donating one can
of string beans, or a box of macaroni,
really make a difference?"......
YES, IT CAN!
